It was a busy weekend at
Skydive Pennridge. The
weather was cooperative,
so we flew until sunset
both days. We kept our
tandem masters and
videographers very busy,
but especially appreciate
the support from our local experienced skydivers.

Saturday was a special day, as tandem student Marissa Phillips from Philadelphia accepted a wedding proposal from her boyfriend Ryan Feldman after her tandem jump. Congratulations Ryan and Marissa! We are thrilled that you chose Skydive Pennridge for this special occasion.

  
Sunday was a family adventure for the McVaughs who live just west of the runway. Tom McVaugh treated himself, his daughter Kelly, and his son Matt each to a tandem jump with video. They enjoyed their experience so much, that they have already purchased a second jump and a logbook, and seem very eager to continue their training. They are sure to be local gurus soon, as they live so close and enjoyed their experience so much. The McVaugh's were hospitable enough to invite the whole skydive staff over for a swim and cold drinks after the sunset load on Sunday. Thanks again, and welcome to the world of skydiving!

Special congratulations to local IAF student Jamie Hange, who completed his IAF level II. Jamie is definitely on the path to becoming a very talented skydiver. Way to go Jamie!

Joe Andrino of New Jersey was MIA this weekend, staying busy at home with work. He was missed at the DZ, but is planning on coming out again soon. He is progressing well and is looking forward to becoming a certified skydiver.

Experienced skydivers, as well as student’s, seem to enjoy the relaxed and friendly atmosphere here at Skydive Pennridge. Everyone is very excited about the upcoming changes here, and we look forward to a great summer as more and more of our local skydivers discover the terrific amenities and great vibes here!
